A Note from our Director:
I have been playing sports from the time I could walk, and soccer has long been my favorite sport to play. One vivid memory that stands out to me is the first time I scored a goal. I remember this day not because of the goal, but because my mom and dad could not be there on that memorable day. Isn’t it amazing that this one fact sticks out to me 20+ years and several hundred soccer games later.

I believe every day is a great day to make an impact in the life of a child. The organized, efficient way that UPWARD is run keeps all of our practices and games in the same place each week. Parents are not forced to decide what town to go to follow each individual child. Practices and games start and end on time, so that you can schedule the rest of your life too. More importantly, every child is given equal playing time through our specialized line-up and substitution system. One of the top reasons children stop playing organized sports is because “they didn’t get to play!” At UPWARD, ”Every child plays, Every child learns, Every child is a WINNER.”

Having the opportunity to start a Sports Program is a dream come true for me. Having the opportunity to run a program that focuses on the child makes it even better. UPWARD provides a place where we can all team together to provide a truly unique sports experience in our community.
